"Just back from Bulahdelah on the sunny Mid-North Coast, having competed for the HSV Owners' Club team in the Nulon East Coast Nationals. The Yella Terra acquitted herself well against a strong field which included some highly modified street and unregistered cars from nine different car clubs, as well as a few that ran for Nulon's team. The event was a hillclimb up a four-laned section of the old Pacific Highway around O'sullivans Gap. This was the second round of this year's four round series, and we will be taking the C5 to Wakefield Park at Goulburn on Friday July 10th for the third round, which is a track sprint format. We were one of around only four naturally aspirated cars competing out of fifty entrants, with rear wheel horsepower ranging up to 650, and weight as little as 900 kgs. With only around 450 at the fly wheel we were seriously outgunned on this fast climb. Official results are not out, but I think we were running close to the top 20 or so. At events like this where purpose built cars form the bulk of the entrants, the yellow beast's "little" 350 ci managed to beat quite a few home, without a hiccup."
