« on: March 21, 2014, 04:43:47 AM »
Hi Guys and Girls

As the title says I am after peeps recomendations for tuner/workshop who is really at the top of their game and has expierance with the LS7 and our exspensive toys.
I have used Sams performance and Russo's performance before but that was for 50K commodores not 100K corvettes anyone got some ideas?
Anyone heard much about these guys Tunehouse - http://www.tunehouse.com.au/testimonials/holden-hsv/

Cheers

Hey Ben, the Ls7 motor, I believe is a highly tuned motor to start with, and is not like your typical Ls1 or 2 where you can just remap it.. if I'm wrong, somebody please jump in here.. Lets say its like buying a highly tuned HSV motor car and trying to get more Kw out of it.. you might, ... hmnmm wont happen.  You really have to start modifying the engine like the  heads, the exhaust, cams lifts to get more out of it..  but what for?.. if you want more grunt, go turbo buddy, or even beta yet.. get a supercharger on it... anyway, owning a Z06 is the cream of de cream.

Try SR performance buddy.. he has worked on theses cars and both Steve Rosenfeld and his brother have extensive Corvette Tuning experience... unless you want to set up a twin turbo setup.. ?

Call Dale at Castle Hill Exhaust. He knows his way around a dyno.

I hear what you are saying, looking at one of these - http://www.hennesseyperformance.com/diablo-corvette-trinity.html
but expensive motor to much around with and get it wrong but they are pretty good in the sense you can tell them what you have fitted and will email you a flash tune to go through the tuner, interesting bit of kit has a lot of data logging capabilities
