Not the best lead up to Xmas I've had thus far
« on: December 26, 2013, 06:35:15 PM »
Well as per everyone else its been a tough year highs n lows but said to some clients n troops if all goes to plan I will be at the Illawarra hotel for a couple of well deserved beers hopefully closing the workshop down about 3p.m Friday 20th Dec .. Had a mate from Melbourne come up that I had'nt seen in a while so was looking forward to Friday breakup..

Everything was going to plan my mate was with us decided to leave the Illawarra with the mrs who came and got me as planned 5.30 p.m.(great move on my behalf) all going to plan..
told my mate lets go check out the chev while Tracey organises tea next thing I know I am in that sh#t place when you wake up with light in your face and people asking tell us where you are do you remember what happened.. For some of those that no me better, a bit of the old dejarvue from 5 months ago back in hospital Yet again.... This time from simply slipping over some water in the garage from the rain we had that afternoon apparently my feet came out from underneath me my mate said all he heard was aloud  sickening thud of my head hitting the concrete out cold for almost an hour.
Good to be home after 5 days in intensive care head unit fracture my head 100mm badly bruised brain and two brain bleeds. I never been so crook in my life ;(  Still cant get out of bed head throbbing and nauseas and a huge egg on my head..I am one person who is looking forward to 2014 cause thats when I will get to drive my vet again.....

Don't forget the helmet!

Glad to hear you're on the mend, Jethro. Wet concrete can be like ice. Maybe time for some garage floor paint with grit in it.
It's C3 chromie for me, see? Si!

Hi Jethro. I have not looked at this part of the forum before. Just read your post. So sorry to hear about your injury. Freaked me out when I read what had happened. Hope you are picking up. Take care. If you need anything just holler.

Thanks Mal / Brad it's a long haul to be truthful 10 days into it and I'm still bed bound for most of the day and maybe two hours sitting on the lounge.... thank fook for me lappy  Oh well could have been much worse ....

Got to laugh thinking i'm up for a new family G P ? Had to get more pain killers so tracey took me in yesterday. As soon as he came out to the foyer and called out my name, it actually looked like seemed excited to see me.
Come in jeff come in. So tell me all bout your latest activities? Hmmm I thought and I asked him,  What the dr ?
Oh i got a email from the hospital friday arvy 21 stating you'd been entered to intensive care. Then one last tuesday to say you've been discharged. So what's ya been up to now? ;) after i told him and on leaving he said well better get yourself sorted only 2 days left to new years you might be able to squeeze one more hospital visit in before 2014. What the fook and i pay him for that too :rol: :rol: :rol:

don't go skiing this coming  year for trucks sake.

I will be in the goog tonight if I get a chance I come down and do burnouts in front of your building
just to wake you up.
