Hi,
Can anyone tell me where I can get a RHD dash for my 79 C3, preferably in the Brisbane area?
Thanks, Colin

If you get desperate you could always have your one redone.

Hi Colin, if you do contact them for a quote, I’d be interested to hear how much they are charging.
You must be getting closer to finishing the resto if you’re starting on the interior.
How's it coming along?

Nick,

You would be thinking I would be closer to finishing but not really. I am jumping back and forth on items. No where near ready for the interior yet, just planning ahead. I will let you know of the price when I get it done.

I have the body all but ready to lift off. I am going to build my dolly over the Xmas/New Year break hopefully.

I dismantled my steering column a while ago for refurbishing and I am now regretting I did. Not sure if I can work out how to reassemble it. May be looking for a new steering column!!!

Started bolting bits on my new 383 Srtroker and it is coming up nice. Bought an L88 bonnet scoop to have grafted on to my original bonnet so that I can clear my high rise manifold. Got onto a guy in Tamworth that does glassing of hot rods etc so hopefully he can do the job well.

Cheers, Colin

Colin sitfixalot a few post back knows the steering columns he would be able to rebuild it for you
I do know a guy in the states that builds  columns,  my last one was $1200US
I think sirfisallot is a better option  he knows his stuff

I haven't been online lately so my apologies that it has taken me a while to reply. I don't think there is much wrong with the column. I stripped it part way down to clean and paint it and then got side tracked with other jobs. Consequently I think I am going to struggle to remember how it goes back together properly (although I did take some photos). It is missing a couple of parts including the horn cap and horn ring which I will have to get.
Cheers, Colin
