I have seats out of an 80 in my vette.  Someone has painted the shells white.  The paint is thick and cracked.  I want to remove the paint before I re-install the seats.  The shells are some sort of injected fibreglass I believe.  What paint stripper should I be using to get the paint off? I'll go chat to the paint supplies guy if I can, but they are normally closed on weekends. Bunnings will be useless, so I'm not bothering with them.

got a place that uses baking soda?  Apparently that stuff is pretty gentle.

I got a large dish & filled with  general purpose thinners put each piece in and use a paint brush to coat each piece will take all the paint off back to the bare shell repaint to colour you want.

nifty

ive heard of media blasting with walnut shells is also pretty good for delicate parts.... make a few calls to blasting places, ive heard they can cover the material ( if still on) and just blast the back so no damage at the front... dont quote me, its just what ive heard.
