BEST improvement I\'ve done to my C3

I had a nice 2.5" system made for me with some deep sports mufflers the other week.

Today I pulled into a car park, when I reversed in I gave it a push on the pedal and it set off the alarm of a 4x4 parked opposite!

Made me proud!

Will hopefully be getting headers made in the not too distant future.

Just changing the exhaust has made some BIG improvement that may interest other C3 drivers.

#1 - Before the new system, the car was getting so hot inside that even on a cold day I'd be sweating so much I'd stick to the seats, I'd have to drive with the window down cause the cabin was heating up so much it was rediculous.

Now with the new system, it's letting out so much bad heat that I'm driving around with the window up and the heater on. Brilliant improvement. I'm very happy as before it was extremely uncomfortable.

#2 - Now that it breathes so much better. I reckon I can feel a difference in acceleration etc. Can't wait for the headers. I wish I had have dyno'd it before so I'd have a real comparison rather than a guesstimate.

A small false floor underneath does wonders! My 77 increased 70+ RWHP with headers and exhaust!! (I had a cam/intake done prior to that)

What type did you get?
I used to have Pacemakers on another car (Ford) and they where OK but ground clearance was an issue.

Ohhhh. Ground clearance... Ground clearance is a big issue with everything on my car!!!

Pacemakers is what was ordered but I havnt put any deposit on them.

Will have to see what happens!
