Yeah, myself and Karl Taylor are leaving on thursday morning 7.00 - 7.30 am ,meeting at the shell servo on pennant hills road, thornleigh i think, and doing it in 2 days ( because our wifes are coming as well :b4), stopping just 1 hour north of Coffs and a small trip in on friday morning to the convention.We are leaving early because  the traffic will be bad with the easterweekend and the normal commuters to contend with.

My Wife and myself are leaving on the Saturday morning a week b4 hand. Trying to stay away from the traffic and spend a week in QLD on a short break.

I am now thinking of going all the way to the Resort and staying at the resort Thursday night so I can sleep in Friday morning.;41
Planing on leaving about 9.00 am Thursady (after peak hour) which should get us there sometime between 10pm and midnight;27
The resort is open 24/7 and have plenty of rooms available so there is no problem with the late check in;28

Is anyone going up from Sydney on Friday morning?  If so, please let me know as I have a member enquiring as to who else may be going up at that time.

Chromie, there is a possibility I may wind up going on the Wednesday but if I don't what you are proposing may work with what I had in mind, I was possibly going to drive up with some folks from Canberra once they were able to get to Sydney.

I'm basically waiting to see what my leave situation is like before I make the final call.

that will do me if anbody got some space for a trundle bed on there floor its only needed for the saturday night
 havent booked anything yet will book something tommorow night if i cant find some were to say at the radison

After arriving home late last night I had some time to ponder what I already thought was an amazing weekend during the 12 hour drive home.

The first and most obvious thing that comes to mind about this weekend is how well organised it was.  Full credit needs to be given to the QLD Club for a weekend which I believe was a resounding success on all levels.  The hard work put in by Brad & Sandy Stumer and the QLD Club members who assisted was obvious throughout the weekend.

I had a blast and from what I saw on the weekend all of our members who attended did also.  A huge thank you and round of applause to the QLD Corvette Club for a great weekend and resounding success. ;42
