Part of the entertainment before dinner

The first Saturday of every month the Wairua Cafe in Gosford holds a Maori Buffet.

My family and a couple of friends did this last year and walked away and not being able to eat the next day. (All you could eat)

The cost is $35 per Adult head. Children are $5 for a 5 year old, $6 for a 6 year old, $7 for a 7 year old and so on until 11 years old. Then they are charged as Adults. A $20 per head deposit needs to be organised a couple of weeks before hand and bookings are essential.

The reason for this post is to find out, what sort of interest there would be to hold a run and dinner to the Central Coast.

I have contacted Jenny the Events Co-ordinator, and she has told me that 5th May looks to be the best month for this.

So basically I am looking for a show of hands and deposits before hand so I can book for the night. I will also be trying to get this into the monthly Mag.

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Tonight I have been offered the Saturday 3rd of March 2007 for our club to eat at discounted prices.

NEW PRICE FOR MARCH ONLY $25 PER HEAD

I need to know before 9am tomorrow if you want to change the date to March. If you could post your replies tonight so I can gauge the response, that would be great.

If I do not get any responses I am guessing 5th May will be the date and at $35 per head.

I will need to collect Deposits of $20/head ASAP to secure which ever date you guys decide.

I think the vote at the moment stands two to one.

So what I will do is contact the cafe tomorrow and tell them that the 5th May will have to stand at $35 a head.

I will also change the heading of this thread back to the correct date.
