Many Thanks Ozpont.

Not that this will effect me as mine is 77.  Just curious, what happens now with people who may want these parts in the future?

Do these parts ever end up back in replica production like parts for our old c3's?

Usually within a 2 year period (depending upon demand) they will be reproduced. GM sells their original tooling to a private manufacture who under GM approval reproduce the item as a "GM Restoration" part:24

Chromies is pretty correct.. just depends on the part/volume & acceptance of cost return to GM on a contract period.

Turbo 3.8 V6 - quickest production car to 60mph back in their day.

I've seen a C4 Corvette with a modded version of the motor run consistent 10's...
