Well I've been burning the midnight oil.  Look what come out to play today.

She gets wheel aligned tomorrow night (Thursday), put the dress rims on the wheels.  Give her a polish, put the bages on.  Then one or two little tidy ups and bring her home while I wait for the engineer.

I never let it run out of rego.  I want the engineer to certify it with the brake and steering mods I've done, (1) for my own peace of mind and (2) for insurance reasons.

Yes I suppose so.  But without the engineer certificate and if I had an accident I'm sure the insurance company would think twice about paying up.

This happened to me back in the late 70's with a project I did.  It's not going to happen again.

Sure, I am getting them sandblasted, assuming they will be ready next week, will U2U the details as my mate delivered them somewhere in Prestons

As for the code simply GM SILVER...we dont have to really to worry about it because in 1971 and onwards they changed the silver with a green tone to a pure silver...So basicaly it is a standard silver Cam (source NCRS America)

Cam,

Thats a beautiful looking engine bay. All that hard work (and money ) is paying itself off.

Like what you did with the chev badge ehhh.  ;27

I bet your fingers are so twitchy at the moment to turn that key and take her for a spin. :grr

This is my engine bay.

Can you just bring along to Darling Harbor a cardboard cut out of the car , we'll keep a narrow spot for you . If it is windy bring some bricks to keep it from ending up at Luna Park.

Very nice engine bay 69Vette.  Apples and oranges comparing yours with Cam's - very very nice for an original engine bay IMO.
