I hope I am not jumping the gun on this one, but the LEADFOOT trophy is back on this year.

Webby is organising it, and we are going to be at WINTON on (now this MAY change, but I think it is solid)

SATURDAY OCT 28

(as an ATO employee I would like to say that if you are in business your BAS will be due on Monday 30th, so please complete before you go away so I don't have to give you extra time when you call us on Monday morning ;-) )


Of course the bad part, due higher insurance and other "issues", the track will cost more than it has in the past, Webby is aiming at around $130-150 per entrant.

Yeah, I'm pumped to finally get the Vette on to a real race track (no offense to the drag strip, but it just doesn't do it for me)

I think Webby will be taking money next meeting.

Oh and John, the GOR run is on in early September, another thing they want deposits for next meeting ;42

Great Ocean Road

Start on the Saturday morning, take the back roads to Lorne avoiding Geelong), stop for lunch at Port Campbell, then on to Warrnambool where we have a dignified night of pingpong, pool and a crap load of booze :evil

The drive back on Sunday.

Most relaxing weekend ever, and the only cost if about 100 for the room (which of course you can split with others) and about $20 thrown in for the BBQ dinner and breakfast (Hickman does a good BBQ)

If you're interested, I'd suggested calling Webby

The pricing still seems very reasonable if the basic track hire portion per car is around that mark...
