So on that I think we forget the names to do with the "Quarter".  What do you guys think?

good call mad Lt1 not designating an area
allows the club to move the show day to any
location may have to drop the word Sydney
maybe call it mid coast or east coast corvette nationals
seeing "down Under " is taken by Qld
any usefull ideas are good

How about 'Corvettes on the Harbour' or 'Corvettes, the Heartbeat of Sydney'  or 'Phantoms from Fox' tic.

Ok, lets drop the quarter thing and any thing to do with a particular location, apart from Sydney, from the names list.  So now we have:-

Sydney Corvette Show

NSW Corvettes annual show

Corvettes at Sydney

Sydney's Corvettes 2006

S.A.S.A.C.S [Sydney All Series Annual Corvette Show]

C.A.S.A.S. [Corrvettes At Sydney Annual Show]

Pulse of Australia

CORVETTES HEADQUARTERS

'Corvettes, the Heartbeat of Sydney'

'Phantoms from Fox'

Some people have made the following suggestions:-

"Can anyone come up with a abbreviated word which would be appropriate to our unique machines"

"We need a catchy name to attract people"

"You know you just cant beat"heartbeat of america" of course what about"pulse of australia" or along those lines as an oz motto.

"The whole message can be set around a corvette logo in between the first and second parenthasese"

So keep them rolling in guys and girls.

Speaking of which.  Come on girls, put your 2 cents worth in.

My 2 cents worth,

I like Corvettes at Sydney or CAS for short.  It's simple, has an easy abbreviation [CAS] and does not have to have a name change no matter where we hold the show in Sydney.

An Example of how it sounds:-

"CAS will be held this year at..............."

Back to you Gang

Or COSS.  Leave the OF in there.  COSS roles of the tongue better.

As another example:

"The next COSS will be held at.............."

Keep them coming lads.

Now thats a bloody brillant idea.

Hey Gazz what ya think?  Worth looking at?  Mind you if they don't sponsor us we would have to be carefull that they did not sue us instead.;53

{i'm posting to much here and crowding the "today's post list".  Keep going lads and I'll tidy up your suggestions into one list, as I have been doing, after the long weekend}

I love Mad's idea.  Chime in lads and give us your thoughts.  Especially you Gazz.

Hey Gaz,
Are we still going to have the show at the former (FOX studios) or is there a possibility of moving the show to Darling harbour as previously mentioned in conversation.
My personal opinion and i repeat MY OPINION is i think it would be fantastic to move it to darling harbour as ther is alot more to see and do around there as fox is pritty boring since most of the shops and things have closed down. I think we would get alote more people passing by around darling harbour and not to mention i think alote more of our partners would turn up as they would have plenty to do in the city.
Just my 2 cents worth.

If most of the shops have closed down as sash said my opinion is for the show to move onto another venue somewhere in Sydney. If the park at Darling Harbour is available it would be great exposure for the club and the cars and there is plenty to do and places to go, not so with Fox Studios.IF WE COULD GET DARLING HARBOUR OR ANY WHERE NEAR SYDNEY HARBOUR.  OR ON THE PROMINADE Then we could call it  " CORVETTES BY THE HARBOUR"
AND WHEN YOU THINK BACK TO THE WAR TIMES THE

      "CORVETTES WHERE IN THE HARBOUR"
Remember the name of our cars was inspired by the CORVETTE war ship

or "CORVETTES AT THE HARBOUR"
If the venue could be kept any where around Sydney Harbour  or Darling Harbour in the future, I dont think it would get  any better than this... in my opinion.

I had already mentioned 'Corvettes on the Harbour' but they didn't seem to like the location in there.

How about a day at the horse races, Randwick or Rosehill. And call it Cowvettes the ultimate stampede. Or Corvettes the ultimate horse power,2006.Or something like that. A day at the horse races is a great day out, and a good mix of people. Just another idea what do you think ? .

The race day idea is good the only problem is lack of entertainment for the ladys & kids that is why Fox was so good their was something for everyone. Keep  the good ideas coming in guys.
