Does your Power steering leave a few drips?
« on: April 12, 2006, 06:32:37 PM »
Quick question all Every time I start up my beast there is a 20 cent coin size drip just in front of the main power steering ram arm.
Before I drive down to Sydney should I get it checked out or is normal for a 72 C3 left hander to leave the odd drip of power steering fluid?

Thanks guys see ya at Penrith

Cam I need to speak to you about Rack and pinion at the Convention, I hate the power steering.

check all connections of the hydraulic system around the offending area, look at condition of the hoses, if they feel soft or spongy \, be concerned. If it is only leaking a bit, keep an eye on the power steering fluid level. You make it sound like there is not a lot of fluid leaking, if you are real worried it can not hurt to have a power steering specialist look at it. Top er  up mate an get on to Penrith!!!;49
