Polished up the T Top trims as well and fitted them tonight.  I'll post some shots when I take them tomorrow night.

They look great what did you use? Does your other half get the sh#ts with car parts on the carpet? My wife does, so I put tiles down, that fixed the problem, no more dirty carpet. I'm still to try the dishwasher for cleaning, like on the TV add.

No I'm spending about $1200 to have ALL the stainless polished as well as any aluminium stripped, polished and re-anodized

No not really.  I leave all Vette parts that are clean in the rumpus room down stairs then she finds a place to store them safe and sound.  She's good that way.  Rather into the project herself.  Bit of a petrol head at heart.

I mean this is a woman that bought me the car hoist, you see in my shots sometimes, for my birthday last year.  This year I got an air compressor with some air tools.  No complaints at this end.  But I have not pushed my luck with the tools in the dishwasher..................yet.:22

Cameron I think my wife was ok until I rebuilt a vintage bike in the family room, pushed it outside and started it. lucky I cant get the car inside, hay.
I'm doing a 76, the only 2 parts that are still together are the body and the rails, I have completed the left to right conversion, and in the process of changing it from auto to manual, painting all the small parts and rebuilding the motor, my son is a mechanic so I think I will put the word on him to do the motor, gearbox and diff, will save me some time.
