I sure I have read somewhere what brakes pads fit the 86 vette. Could someone please refresh this old man what ones they were, I will write it down this time.:evil I must bhe getting old.;eek;laugh;eek
Found them, I reckon some RAT hid them.

They are Corvette brake pads...... but I also understand you can take certain types of Commodore pads and laith them down and attach some type of retainers or as one owner suggested.. weld on the retainer wings then file them down... (Serious problem there.... why would you EVER own a Corvette and be that tight ... ;37 )

I had Commodore pads on the back of my '86 at one stage and they fitted on OK without any mods, but the shape of the pad is different (a local brake place fitted them because they were in stock).
Genuine Corvette pads are not really any more expensive, so I'd just get the proper ones.
