Good to know, thanks for the info. Comfort is not a high priority compared to handling. The Vette will always ride a lot smoother than my MG (very low and stiff, live axle, and weighs ~600kg) anyway.
At this point I just want the car back together to try it as is, so I think I'll just shorten the main leaf (which will slightly stiffen the spring but not much). I'm keen to see how the car drives with the 'mostly stock' (fresh balljoints, poly bushes, Borgeson steering, offset upper arms in the front, lowered inner mounts in the rear, bilstein shocks) gymkhana suspension as a baseline before making additional changes. I hope it will work quite well... Time and money are a factor too.
