I have been using this forum as part of my research before buying my Corvette and it has been great, thank you.

I bought a basic C3 1969 manual.

I pick up the car this week and look forward to learning from you.

I just have 2 questions if you don't mind.  Can you recommend anyone in Sydney's west who can detail the car? and Can you recommend anyone to replace the mufflers as i want it louder than the stock ones.

"Hills detailing" did a my chevelle a few years ago, top job, very professional.
And "north shore performance mufflers" will look after your sound problem.
That maybe a hike for you though.

Castle Hill Exhaust will look after you if up that way but also Liverpool exhaust are good as well, have used both and no problems recommending them.
Detailing well that can be a can of worms depends on what you want, just a really good going over or removing swirls or orange peel you will really need to do your research.
