Get in early for this one if you intend taking up the option for the overnight stay. There are already 6 couples have indicated they intend staying for the festivities.
I've got a special package deal for the night but could only reserve 10 rooms. A further 7 upgraded (own bathroom) rooms are available but not reserved.
Since this is a long weekend, they won't last!
I'm working on dedicated parking!
Please let me know if you're coming ASAP

Hi all,
We've just been reminded that the rooms booked must be released if not booked by Saturday. This is a 2 day extension on the previous indication.
From our list of people going there are only 3 of the traditional rooms left, so if you are thinking of staying, get in quick

. Jakki and I did the run yesterday to confirm bookings and check out parking etc. The manager at Caves House confirmed all 10 rooms had gone and we have a booking for dinner at 7:00pm. There may still be a couple of rooms if others are suddenly interested.
We also checked out caves tours which I think are over priced! That said there is a self guided cave tour (free) and the walk to Blue Lake was worth while as we came across 2 platypus who didn't seem at all phased by us.

Lunch is booked at Oberon with a good choice of Chinese or burgers for $10. A bargain!
Should be a great run weather permitting.

You were lucky mate - 6 - 7 weeks ago both the lake and self guided cave's were closed. I have three or maybe 5 vouchers that can be used over and over again for half priced tours but only the cheaper caves ($34 ) see you on Sunday maybe.

The Brass Monkey Run is the President's Run and Garry and I thank Gary and Vicki Nelson in allowing us to have helped out in making it a great weekend.
And thanks Nick, i did get a couple of good pics but got a lot of bad ones too :)
