Cars under 15yrs have to be converted by someone registered to convert that year and model.

Unfortunately.. the answer is  NO.. and No and NO... NOBODY in the country has passed and complied for 4th Gen F bodies at all.. & unlikely to due to economics.
The Fed Dept of Transport is about to make it even harder come Jan 1st.. primarily all vehicles UP TO 30 years will be pulled into the ailing policitcal stuff up called the " RAWS Scheme"..  which required  Certified workshops to basically have an specific model series Certified / Complianced.. and for that.. its costing around A$70,000 per series model...Plus protocol and license for the workshop plus more fees  etc just to exist...
SO.. how many c4 or c 3 vettes.. or camaros or Firebirds are likely to warrant the Workshop JUST TRYING to get is money back with say 10 import approvals.. .. not making any money...
.. Think this is NOT happening..   .. think again.... seems its all too hard..  for too many .. .. and shortly .. TOO LATE..

.. ADVICE.. get your 15-30 year old cars in NOW. cleared before Jan 1st 2005.. or gamble the access afterwards.

Is there a listing, anywhere on the net, of all the converters who are certified under the new RAWS scheme?
I've had a look but couldn't find anything.
