74 bonnet on a 77vette

hi  just wondering if some one can tell me if a 1974 bonnet will fit on 77 vette.

The size of the hood will fit
It leaves only two things to check
1/ Does your 1977 hood latch system match the 1974
I think the latch system was changed in 1978
2/ Does it clear your radiator
I believe that a pre 1974 hood would not so you should be OK here.

Thank you for your help,the bonnet latch doesn't concern me,the main thing is that it lines up with the body.

Yes the hood will fit, however how well it will fit is unknown until after you have fitted the hood;30. Corvette panels will always change in shape over time depending upon what stress the fibreglass is under and how well previous repairs have been performed before.;50

thats ok mate, its going to get worked on,i just don't wan't to cut a hole in my original bonnet and i got a 74 bonnet complete with hole cheap.;)
