Go here for the details. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1874582531
I've watched as this guy had his dream car built for him over 3 years. It just goes to show what money and inagination can get for you if you have enough of both.

77CVT

He just had the thing finished and now he's selling it! :o:o  Now I know he's a fool!

He must have had to get a big tax write off to spend that much money and sell it for less than a fifth of the cost to build it. :b4:b4

It probably scared him too much the first time he drove it! ;laugh

FWIW, we have mentioned that car here before (I think Brutus knows where I got the link :)).

From what I read his official reasons were that he has to rationalise with his current job possibilities (ie: a big pay cut) but he did also mention that he doesn't fit in it and he has almost killed himself and a friend (I think one of the cars builders) when he bumped the throttle while adjusting his posture whilst driving...

He was going to build "Merlin 2" with more power but I dunno if that's going to happen now...

Spend $250k on a car you don't fit in!  :b2:b2  Some people don't deserve money!

Vette Obsessed

Thats $250K in US dollars so for those who don't realise were are talking about approximately $450K AUS. :o:o:o

Over $100K US in the motor alone apparently...
