I have seen too many instances where people continue to pursue wrong courses of action because they do not take the time to think critically about what has happened in the past.''

I just booked airfares to New York and a motel room in Carlisle for the weekend of 28-30 August for 2015 Corvettes at Carlisle.

I see on your itinerary this event is listed for the weekend before!!!

VETTENUT

Hi Wabco40. A lot has changed since the itinerary was first proposed back in March. We will now be in Carlisle Friday 28th and Saturday 29th August 2015, then on to NY Sunday 30th. Will get the itinerary at the start of this thread updated.
Hope to catch up with you at Carlisle.
Cheers
Gary

Hi Bob, I have cancelled my trip a few weeks ago  :grr:  I am still having a few nerve related issues with my leg after the op and also want to spent the time getting my car back on the road. I am starting to feel a bit p#issed off I did now that the date is getting closer.

Hope you all have a great trip and I am sure you will like Carlisle PA (so long as it doesn't rain).

:hi: Ross and Lynne are back from the USA. It was a great trip with fun had by all. Thanks to Debs amazing organisation skills all went very smoothly. The corvette museum and factory were great and the Corvette race day was exciting and Ross was like little boy in a candy shop at the Carlisle day. The whole trip held great interest as there was something for everyone from historical museums, civil war battle grounds, tourist attractions of Washington and New York, the excitement of Las Vegas and the amazing vista of the Grand Canyon. Thanks to everyone for your stimulating company.

Very cool pics guys. I can't believe that you hit all of those locations. Very impressive. While living in OH, we hit a lot of the same locations (maybe a few more....) but we did over 3-1/2 years. I remember walking DC three days solid and walking like an 80 y/o for days afterwards from the shin splints. I hope Gettysburg was a highlight. It's of massive, massive significance to American culture (my wife wept while we were absorbing it all). Glad that you went down into the Grand Canyon - one of my big regrets that will take me back one day.  Did the boys build a full set of cards from Vegas....?  If you didn't then, you won't get that comment.  If you did, you should have a smile on your face right now 😇😇
