Does anyone know who started the facebook page for the club?
Created February 2012 but no activity since.
I requested membership some time back but I don't think it's being monitored.

It was me.  When it came up the page was created to ensure the clubs name was secured.  The fb page is not active and not posted on.

I have seen too many instances where people continue to pursue wrong courses of action because they do not take the time to think critically about what has happened in the past.''

You should probably start it up, the MOCA one seems to have more members than those that visit their forum.

And I rest my case.  That's exactly why we don't.

And I rest my case.  That's exactly why we don't.

From memory their FB site started after the forums and they didn't lose forum activity after it started. Some people just aren't forum people but they use fb so they scooped up all those people onto their fb page.

I've seen many forums die off after facebook, the ones that are still active however are the car forums, facebook just doesn't have the same access to resources when you need to ask a question or want information on your car, so the forum will still remain strong in that respect.

It's not a numbers or activity thing here.  This forums sole purpose is for keeping the clubs members up to date. The MOCA site is a completely different clientele to here.

For this club, it's far better to keep all the information under the one roof.   :hi:

Happy with the first answer. Wasn't looking to start any wars.
A link to the forum on the page might be a good idea, and maybe a note that the page name is being held for proprietary reasons or future development so fools like me don't try to join it. :surrender:
