The Nelson Bay weekend is growing in attendance each year. If you're new to the club, have been a member for years, or thinking of joining.
Join us on a great weekend with a bunch of Corvette freaks, where the emphasis is to Drive, enjoy and relax.

Saturday 16th - Meeting at Thornleigh Macca’s.  Departure time 10:30am

Destination – Bay Breeze resort.  Nelson bay

Details

Accommodation - Nelson Bay Breeze Resort, Cnr of Shoal Bay Road & Trafalgar Street - Nelson Bay. Phone: 4984 3199 - http://www.nelsonbaybreeze.com.au/ (http://www.nelsonbaybreeze.com.au/)
They've set aside a block of 14 rooms for us and will only hold them till mid January.
To avoid disappointment, book your accommodation ASAP please. Mention you're from NSW Corvettes for a better rate.

Check in - After sinking in by the pool area with a few ales & many cocktails, we'll head down into the city centre for shopping or a cruise around Nelson bay waters.
Last year some never made it past the Bar at the resort, see the picture above :drunk:

Dolphin Cruise - TBA on the day, if we make it that far.

Saturday Dinner - Will again be at the Breeze pool area / restaurant “SIENNA’S” for more idle chatter about Vettes, till very late.

Sunday morning -  The Port Stephens Classic Automobile Association http://www.pscaa.org.au/ (http://www.pscaa.org.au/) - have offered to put on a BBQ breakfast for us, more details to follow.

Sunday Lunch - Murray's Brewery and Winery -  3443 Nelson Bay Rd - http://www.murraysbrewingco.com.au/brewery/brewery.php (http://www.murraysbrewingco.com.au/brewery/brewery.php)

Our Northern members will be catching up with us for lunch and showing us around their neck of the woods.
Following lunch you can make your own way back to Sydney or you can stay the extra night for another mischievous night.

Lynne and I are booked in.

FYI the resort says there are only 10 rooms left that are allocated to the Club!  That said it sounds like the apartments have 2 bedrooms, if folk are will to share an apartment.

This is what has been set aside for us.
2 one Bedroom apartments @ $160 per night (down from $180), 8 two bedroom loft apartments and 4 single level two bedroom apartments for you @ $170 per night (down from $190).

Update on the weekend gang.
The 14 rooms we reserved have all been taken, we have secured another 4 loft apartments for the weekend.

To avoid disappointment make your reservation ASAP as these rooms will only be held to mid January.
Sunday breakfast.  :bbq:

Just in from Murray's Brewery. I lie, I received this on Monday. Merry Xmas everyone :drunk:

 Hi Nick,

Thanks for your inquiry re holding a NSW Corvette Club meeting at Murray’s Brewery and Port Stephens Winery for approx. 50-60 guests on 17 February.

We will have a band playing on that day from midday.

We’d be pleased to offer your group:

•   Complimentary beer and wine tasting
•   Complimentary brewery tour (to be taken at 2pm on the day of your visit)
•   Complimentary use of our new bocce court

Those of us who are staying Sunday night and not in a hurry to return to Sydney after lunch might want to do the brewery tour. I know we would like to do the tour. :cheers: :thumb:

Another (http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p89/zifnaboma/bump/thbump2.gif),  All reserved rooms have been taken folks  :banana:, you can still make a booking for the weekend as there are rooms available.

I’ve contacted Sienna’s restaurant and they’re happy to accommodate us for lunch on the Saturday, We all know what happens on an empty fuel tank.  :thud:
