Went to the Observatory to watch this today. It was cloudy and raining, so didn't see much at all. Thanks for the pics.

By the way, I didn't know until today that the reason Captain Cook was in the South Seas and come across Oz, was because his expedition was really to investigate the Transit of Venus from down under.
