Did you buy it locally or have it imported?

It's a fresh import that I bought locally. The guy lived in sheparton, I found it on eBay, made an out of eBay deal and he pulled the auction

Thanks guys...
I've wanted a 57 since I was a kid.
Lambo, 57's and vettes have been my all time top 3 cars. I've sat in a Lambo - thats the closest I'll ever get to owning one!
Had two vettes, my 76 was awesome, took a risk and got burned when I sold my 76 to get the 70 vert you all know of which just about buried me, now my feet are back on the ground I've gone on this 57. Looks like this ones a keeper too.
Down the track I hope to pick up another vette. Not a bloody project car this time though! But It'll be a while till I've finished doing all the work on this 57 that I want to do.
As in heres my project "to do" list:
Fuel guage that works
A combo speedo guage so I can remove the add on guages that someone installed
Power steering and maybe rack pinion upgrade
Vintage air upgrade (maybe - will look into options)
4 new floor pans
Remove the rear window and get it re sealed (small surface rust repair while its out)
Under dash wiper motor
Rust patch in boot cut out
Disc brake rear end upgrade
I want it lifted up about an inch or so - so I can actually drive it!
Interior kit/carpet etc, seats re trimmed and new foam etc
Some external mirrors might be a good move also - its ok on driving the road, but pulling out of parks is a bugger without a road side mirror
