Hey all,
A mate of mine has a nice collection of excaliburs.
If you have not heard of this car they are a true classic style sports car that run a small block chev.
He is having an issue with the small block in one of them not running right and asked if I could recommend a book for him.
Ive never really needed to trouble shoot engine's so I dont know of a good book. Can anyone recommend one for me.
BTW its an old school carbie fed small block.

ok what is it doing
some info on the problem
Describe the symptoms as they presented them self
and in what order
what carby
type of ignition
what is any work was done on the vehicle prior to the problem commencing.

I just gave my friend a phone call to find out, and found he has already sorted his earlier problem which was carby related.
He is just after a good informative book on small block chevs (C3 era) explaining different options, specifications & history etc etc.
