Title: sticking window
Post by: billsteamshovel on May 14, 2011, 07:00:02 AM
I was playing around with my 85 Coupe yesterday and was giving the windows a good scrub and the drivers window now only goes up halfway?
Any idea's before I pull it apart.
It was working perfectly. Its RHD so its the drivers door, when it stops halfway it just clicks?

Any help welcome.

Regards Billy

sounds like your window regulator is wearing out, you could try lubricating the window channels with silicone spray to help the window slide up with less resistance,  thus less work on regulator.
