Title: Whats the push to release button "84"

Hi, just new to the Corvette's so I would like to know if anyone can help me before I press to find out!

In the 1984 Corvette inside the centre console is a yellow button that says "Push to release" what is this and what is it for?

Im not going to press it until I find out...

Welcome Lib84.

In my 84 the yellow button releases the rear hatch.

I'm not familar with that year, and I'm sure you'll get an answer to that specific question here, but FYI you can still buy the Owners Manual:

Do you have any pictures of your toy?  If you would like I can set up an account for you in the MPG (http://www.nswcorvettes.com.au/photo/) where you can host your pictures and link them to the forurm including making yourself an Avatar, or you can e-mail them to me and I'll do it for you.

Mind you before the 7th Oct.  I hand the reins over at our AGM on the 7th.
