Title: 88 vette electrical connector help

next to the brake booster or near it
there is a 2 pin electrical connector with  bracket
suppose to mount on firewall with screw.
It has 2 purple wires gong to the connector
and inside that connector is a buff color 5amp
fuse inside.
What does it do? what is this connector called?
I need to replace it
It could the intermittent wiper any help welcome

put a picture up will help identify what it is as with heaps of different conversions in a C4 it could be anything.

Thanks for coming back the connector is squashed so pic nbg.
I'll just have to go over the wiring diagram again its the only connector that has a yelo 5amp flat fuse inside.
Saw it at greg morris shop he didnt know what it does but suggested intermittent wipers may be its job, he is very busy might have to pop in see him and trace it and let you know.
2 purple wires passing thru the fuse inside the connector....cheers

Start it up, pull the fuse and put on the int wipers and other switches to see if it stops working?
