You just gotta love customs sometimes. I got my Hooker sidepipe headers over here duty free, but they charged me tax on the bolts and gaskets!;eek
-
bob.....get outta here, your joking gaskets and bolts sheeeeeesh, that'd be right, but it woulda been cheap HEhehehehehehehehehe;);););)

A bloody lot less than paying full freight on the headers I can tell you. There is a trick to it tho that I will impart to anyone who wants to import parts.

Hi JH 1st & 2nd of November I will get back to you with more info. The cobra club has invited us to there race day on the 23rd of August if you want to go let me know.
Regards Garry.

Garry...Is this a seperate event from their Cobra nationals in October?
Btw, I have a very good contact in the Cobra Club.....well he actually owns the business that builds the damn things here in the Shire. You should see the latest one sitting in his workshop. The body is painted in that PPG colour changing paint, but the big thing is that the stripes are done in a different colour too although still in the same type of paint. Definitely different.;eek

Hi Brutus yes this is a race day for all types of cars I think Mick from our club is taking his lambo down. If you need more info call me.
Regards Garry

Brutus, that's PPG's Harlequin. Basically any color with a pearl base and usually looks best with a high contrast color underneath the main color.

And at nearly $1,000.00 a litre I won't be wondering what it's gonna look like on my car.!;eek
