vo....AND  GANG....WHENS  WAKEFIELD......TOO  MANY  RUNS  COMING  UP,BATHURST,  ETC  GOTTA  UPDATE  THE  CALENDER..........by  the way  just  had  UPS  customs  ring  and  said  the  workshop  manual  gets  not  import  duty  but  the  data  plates  and  the  rear  lid  plastic  protector  thingy  on  convertables  is  custom  charged  plus  GST..............??????????????????  ;);););)

You just gotta love customs sometimes. I got my Hooker sidepipe headers over here duty free, but they charged me tax on the bolts and gaskets!;eek

A bloody lot less than paying full freight on the headers I can tell you. There is a trick to it tho that I will impart to anyone who wants to import parts.

Garry...Is this a seperate event from their Cobra nationals in October?
Btw, I have a very good contact in the Cobra Club.....well he actually owns the business that builds the damn things here in the Shire. You should see the latest one sitting in his workshop. The body is painted in that PPG colour changing paint, but the big thing is that the stripes are done in a different colour too although still in the same type of paint. Definitely different.;eek

Hi Brutus yes this is a race day for all types of cars I think Mick from our club is taking his lambo down. If you need more info call me.

Brutus, that's PPG's Harlequin. Basically any color with a pearl base and usually looks best with a high contrast color underneath the main color.
