The new ZR1 has just lapped the Nurburgring in a time of 7:26.4:fun
I dare say this is going to ruffle a few feathers amongst the supercar fraternity as well as the Skyline GTR lovers.

As most see it, the ZR1 is fighting against the v-spec GTR, not the standard GTR. If it beats that, then the feathers will be ruffled ;39

What Nissan won't tell you too proudly (or at all) is that the latest model Nissan GTR did NOT set it's Nurburgring 'record' time on street tyres. ;48

So what was the out come of that video from youtube gtc? I didnt get it, The GTR came in behind the vette but had a faster time????

I don't think that the vid proves anything, given that it was a hack job anyway. I just posted it in response to the mention of GT-R fans having their feathers ruffled, and they have been apparently by media headlines such as this one:
