this is the link to the page if you need to know anything else just let me know;
Speed Off The Streets
Wakefield Park also offers Speed off the Street Days, where road-registered street cars and bikes can run on the circuit for a small fee. Drivers/Riders can learn how their vehicle can really perform, in order to better understand how to control their vehicle on the road.
Just bring yourself and your street car and for just $110 per or your road bike for just $120 per day (week days) you can experience what it's like to Drive/Ride around a race track. Drivers need to wear appropriate attire:
• Approved road use helmet (also available for hire at track)
• Neck-to-wrist-to-ankle clothing protection (could be long sleeve shirt and long pants)
• Closed in shoes (cover ankle to toe)
During the lunch break at some of our Speed off the Street Days, the V8 Challenge cars are available for Drives or Rides to anyone wanting to experience a Drive or Ride in a V8 Racecar.
SPEED OFF THE STREET DAYS
o Drive your own street car $110.00 per day or road bike $120 per day (week days)
o Australian Autosport Alliance licence $50.00 (annually)
o Helmet hire available for $20 per day with a $50 Deposit
PASSENGERS FOR DRIVER TRAINING PURPOSES ONLY
ET RACING FUEL available now from the bowser.
CAFÉ OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK

I'm cursed!!!!! I regret to inform you guys that I cant make it now! .......... I've got a good excuse this time!.........I've broken my Tibia and Fibia!!!!!! %%^^%&^%$%$$$ You cant imagine how pi**ed off I am. I was gunna get it dyno tuned last wed, the trailer is all registered, so I had nothing stopping me. It must have been an omen or something? So I'm in Plaster and cruthes for 9 weeks plus reabilation after that! If I wasnt in so much pain I would luv to come down and watch. Sorry.
-
Bad news indeed, DR69. What were you doing to bust yourself up that badly?
-
I was at Eastern Creek for the Nostagia Drags after just 15mins or so, I dicided to go back to the car to get my snappy cam, I was walking down the grass hill when .....I cant remember the rest! Basically I must have slid on the grass and come to a holt somehow very quickly! People heard the snap from 20-30metres away!
-
Ouch!!
Hope you're on the mend sooner than later.

Thanks, Cam.
If somebody would like to pen a short report of the day for the Club newsletter, I'd be happy to include it as long as it gets to edit@nswcorvettes.com.au by July 23rd.

You don't have to be quite so creative in avoiding a track day:
A Viper turned up on the day after the owner had been planning for the day and upgrading the car for several months. Got in to turn it over for his first session and it cranked then died - the alarm module killed the car - it left on a flat bed.
Sorry for your pain - get well soon.
BTW: you missed a beautiful GT40 and Boschies VK race car!
A great day was had by all. Thanks Boschy for organising this.

What a bloody good day out.
thanks to everyone that turned out we had sh*tloads of fun.
got a ride in RB's new Silver Z06 flash machine.Got a hug and kiss of his lovely wife(sorry mate i think she loves me).;laugh
and had the pleasure of ZEDohSIX company.
thanks to Cam for the pixs and to all the guys that turned up.
my new toy went better than expected but like all my toys it will need a injection of horsepower to make it a little more lethal.
It was great to catch up with Bert and Ernie (bob and ray) Ray give your lovely wife a big kiss and hug for me because she really does love me.;41

Here is some more video of the day.
Wakefield Park 1:10.20 Lap (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p0Q3zxuCEHc)
Unfortunately it has none of the other cars of interest in it. Boschies VK and the GT40 were running in another group (story to tell on that one), and Russells Z06 always seemed to be at the other end of the track.

Here is a photo of my new track toy.it designed to be a low cost bit of fun that i can flog all day and not wreck the vette.
so the vette is semi retired, it will only come out at corvette trackdays from now on.
