Does anyone remember where there was an article on replacing the headlight vacuum actuator rod seals with the how to pictures.....i read it somewhere but my memory fails me......not surprising since my headlights are failing me too......john:22

Gyday John,
Pretty sure it was in Vette magazine, if pressed I could probably find it for you. ;29

John, I'll see if I can chase up the rest of this series for you.

John,
This is a pretty easy job to do, the hardest part is getting the actuators out. There is a small ring with tabs on it holding the outer seal on, use a small jewelers screw driver to carefully bend the tabs up. Other than that it's a no brainer....it has to be since I could do it without anything exploding.

I had the vette article, that's what reminded me i had seen an artice on only replacing the rod seals that had some good tips and how to pics.....what i can't see is whether or not i have to take the cans out of the car to do it and if i do,where the d****** things attach......pretty hard to see from upside down underneath the car....john;38

How are you going with the lights John?
Did you find the article in Vette magazine? A friend of mine returned some magos to me today and lo and behold the mago you want was on top of the pile. If you need it let me know.
