Post by: nifty on June 20, 2007, 11:32:20 PM
my buddy with a 77 vette was having a bit of trouble bleeding his brakes....when he pumped pedal the lid blew off and sprayed car (with 3 day old paint) with brake fluid....water and vinegar got it off with out damage,so he came up with this homemade contraption.....not the prettiest thing but it works....damn cant get the pictures up....but can be viewed at

I have been meaning to do that for about 4 years now.  Great idea and good to see someone did it.

As someone mentioned on that other forum, just buy a motive power bleeder ffs: http://www.motiveproducts.com/01products.html (http://www.motiveproducts.com/01products.html)

Buy it once and you will never have any problem bleeding brakes EVER again. It is by far the best piece of equipment I have bought!

I have adapter caps for both my C3 and C4.

I think they have a supplier here in Australia as well, just email them.
