WHEN: Sunday August 19th

WHERE: Meet at Thornleigh Macca's at 9.30am for a 10.00am sharp departure and drive to Concours Sportscar Restoration & Bali Treasures, 3 Mildon Road Tuggerah.

WHY 1: For a guided tour of the premises by proprietor Gavin King with a run down of all the projects under restoration including 2 C Type Jaguars. Concours are the only preferred Shannons repairer on the Central Coast

WHY 2: For a unique chance for the girls to be shown through Bali Treasures, Sam Kings new business importing Balinese furniture, handicrafts and gifts.

WHY 3: BBQ lunch provided

WHY 4: Because while the boys talk toys, the girls can browse or even pick up a Balinese bargain!!

For those travelling direct, I got this from Glenn

"Hi Cam address is 3 Mildon road Tuggerah, from Sydney take the f3 north, take the Tuggerah turn off, I think it is Cobs road turn right at stop sign.  You will see the Tugerah super centre on your right, second round-a-bout left then about a half a mile on you left is Mildon road, on the corner is Ron Coots Furniture warehouse, Concours is just behind that.

I wish to extend my thank you to Gavin King, Concours Sportscar Restoration and family for letting us into there workshop and Bali Treasures shop.

As an ex-panel beater/spraypainter apprentice, it was so nice to see a workshop with true trades people working metal instead of just remove and replace the damaged piece.

The Bali Treasures shop I will be taking my wife for a look sometime soon. Again lots of very nice pieces.:ado

;aycheers to all that showed up today,the weather held up for us and we have found a really good paint and repair shop that you can take your pride and joy to with confidence and get a top quality job done,12 vetts and a few shopping trolleys showed up,as far north as port maquarie and as far south as central coast...........;wtf happend to the corvettes from sydney?????????not one:p to gavin king thanks for a great day...........to my club i stand down as nortern rep,i feel as i have not fullfilled my duty in getting the sydney people interested in what goes on north of the f3......electoins are next month ,this should give someone time to put there hand up for the positoin...........i will continue my input on this forum though as i enjoy this....................................................................................[

the weather was horrible over here Glenn, it did not stop raining all day mate, it was so miserable!!!
