"Hello, hope all is well. I’m contacting you regarding a request I’d like to put forward to interested members of the club.
My son attends a small primary school set in bush land, situated amongst acreage properties in Castlereagh. The school is holding a Fair in May and I asked the schools Committee if they would be interested in having a Corvette Car Show as part of their entertainment. Of course they were very enthusiastic and asked me to go ahead and organize the event. The Fair is not only a fun event for family and friends but also to raise awareness of the school and all it has to offer. The local paper will be there to do a story too.
The Fair is to be held on Saturday 12th May, the day before Mother’s day, beginning at 10am and finishing at 3pm. There will be stalls, rides, food outlets, show bags, etc. We would only require 10 to 15 Corvettes to attend. The schools Committee has offered to provide lunch for the Vette owners. There will also be a people’s choice award of 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies, proudly sponsored by OSA Communications. Don’t forget to grab your ticket for the lucky door prize. The Vettes need to be set up by 10am and stay till 2pm. There will be a designated area for the Vettes to park safely.
The meeting place will be Penrith Panthers McDonalds at 9am, departing at 9.30am.
I’d like to have definite commitments by those interested ASAP so I can assure the Scholl Fair Committee that it is all organized.
