Great selection of machines you guys have there.  69 Dirty Rat would feel quite at home.

Tell us a bit about the cruise.  Where you went, etc, etc

sure is 69dr....it was built in whyalla and used in ww2.it is about 5kms away from the ocean, and is the largest land locked ship in australia.pitty the guns have been welded up.its too good a photo site to miss.its in our martime museum, and you can do a full tour onboard.those guys in ww2 had gon*ds of steel if you ask me.i will see if i can fond some pics of it getting puled up slipway and being pulled by a few trucks.

i missed out big time.there was only going to be 2 or 3 going to test out johns 77 because hes going for alhd rego next week.pud was in with his 73,craigs 75 god the nod as well.tony was busy and couldnt make it.the just went for a short lap of the town, when the got to hummock hill,(which was whyalla was originally called.its an iron ore hill.)tony turned up in his normal car, saying he's busy doing something for his wife.seen the vettes and said he be back in 5 mins.then steve rocked up with a borrowed trader plate.missin were a mint red 73BB(ran out of rego)  gus's red 80(getting rhd conversion in adelaide) and an 85 (drag car).poor me was at work.seeing 2 vettes at the same time is a rare sight in this town,5 was a sight and a half.by all reports the gpt plenty of stares waves and smiles.

Good to see another beautiful dark corvette brown vette.....such a glorious colour and now particularly rare....it must be that most of the original dark brown one were really fast and as a result blew off all their paint and became humble red ones...john;35;35;39;39;39
