Run No C065.



Hello Guys and Gals,

This is only a temporary notice, but will confirm sometime next week of the exact date, but we are looking at planning another getting together this year for those who missed out last year with the boys and their toys from the XU1 Car club once again.

So far, the day we have planned (given their and our prior commitments) is for Sunday the [strike]25 March 2007[/strike] now 18 March 2007(weather pending) and we are looking at heading north to Gosford to La Porchetta for Brekkie then down to Wisemans Ferry via the Old coast or Gosford Rd.

However, this time we are planning big, and having some fun with the A9X Car club and HSV Car club as well. Im not sure how many cars as yet.

In the meantime, will contact the Camaro Car Club and also envite them along as well, when i have the date confirmed.

So keep your diaries close and the day open for some great times.

Cam or Andy, could you text me the phone number of The Comaro Car Clubs Pres.  Thanks

For future reference, all contact details of associated clubs are on our website in the Associated  Club Links page HERE (http://www.nswcorvettes.com.au/club_links.htm)  Once in that page you will find a link to the Comaro~Firebird Club.  You just click on it and it wil take you to their website and from there you just click on their Committee List and all their contact details are there.

Okay,

The date and times is now set, and i would like to invite you all. Out there in Corvette Land...The run has been designed to also include our central coast corvette friends as well. Please come. :v



Time: The date is now set for Sunday the 18th March 2007. ;-)

When:  Meeting at the Greyhound Club Yagoona at 8am and leaving 8.30am Sharp. :v

Where: Heading to Thornliegh Macdonalds and arriving at around 9am to 9.15am.  This would be a good opportunity for those not meeting at the Club to meet us here. ;ay

Going: Then when all is good and everyone is there, we head along the Old Pacific Highway over the bridge to West Gosford to La Porchetta (for morning brekkie).  Then stay there around 2 hours. Give or Take. :luv

Then:  We head along Wisemans Ferry Rd to the ferry where we cross over and go up that big hill (Galston Gorge), correct me if im wrong, but dont shoot the messanger. :v

Then: We head along the Northen Road to Middle Dural where we break up and head off home. ;38

This day should be a cracker and one not to be missed.. so start praying for good weather... i know i will be! ;laugh

Hello all and northern corvetters.  Please come along to this event.  Everybody is welcome and if you have a friend bring them as well.

This event is being held the week after the show and shine at Bella Vista.

Hello All,

Just wanted to advise that a booking has been made at LaPorchetta for 50 people to attend and this event will go on regardless of the weather.

Just bring the shopping trolleys.

For people comming in from the west, the meeting point is at McDonalds Eastbound on the M4 and departure time from there to thornleigh is at 8am.

I hope to see you all there.

Sofar we have about 12 Xu1's comming, 3 A9x's and 6 Camaros plus us.

Hope to see you there.

Hello All,

Just a quick note, that should you be comming in from the west, then why not head to McDonalds Eastbound on the M4 and join up with others (from Xu1 carclub) and head on straight to Thornliegh Maccas.  (Pennant Hills Road).

If you live up on the north, then head on straight through to McDonalds at Thornliegh.  

Where we will all amass and head on up Northwards to Gosford!

And don't forget, if the weather isn't as kind to us this weekend, the run is still on as there has been a booking for 50 people for breakfast.

Well the day's weather was not kind to us.  It was a cloudy morning but thought we would risk it and see what happens.

A few of us meet up at the greyhound club then made our way up to Thornleigh to catch up with the main group.

We all had a bit of a natter and chatter before we headed off to Gosford way.

This guy was being his usual cheeky “smokem” self..... and so was she.  Mind you I wasn't exactly an angel with the occasional slip of the right foot.

We all arrived safe and sound.  Some of us went down to the club for a big hearty brekkie while others had cake and coffee.



After a while it was time to move on.

Some were going to Wisemans Ferry for lunch, yours truly here had to mossy on back home due to other commitments.

It was great to catch up with the XU1 gang again and a pleasure to meet our Comaro cousins and SLR kin folk.  Would love to do it again when the weather is finer for a lunch run.

Hello All,

Thank you very much to all who turned up on the day to make this a big memorable event. And to smoke-em who litterly did;31 Unfortunately the weather was all the best and  mitigating factor in the numbers:(  However, those who turned up made it all worth while.. ;)

Thank you for the terrific pictures as well Cam/Michelle, they are totally awsome and really snazzy!

A big thank you also goes to Jorge my cheauffer for the day... ;49....
