G'day gang.
Most of you C3 owners would be aware of the problem we have had in the past with the rear blinker bulbs. You could not buy orange bulbs with the correct bayonet pin configuration. You either had to put an orange diffuser in ya lens, paint ya bulb or grind one of the bayonet pins off an orange bulb.
Well not any more. You now can buy the correct orange bulb. I blew a bulb yesterday so I called into my wholesaler of auto electric’s today. I was asking about bright LEDs when he told me you can now buy the orange ones with the right bayonet configuration.
So I bought a box of 6 at approx $1 per bulb. If you need some give me a call or you can buy them direct from Van Line at Minto, 02 9603 9200, 6/11 SWASSHAM RD, MINTO. Ask for Phill. Tell him Cameron sent ya.
Brand name NARVA Part Number 47383 (21 watt - amber)

Don't forget that if you use an amber globe on the rear you will have to blank out the red part of your lens as well:spook

Ok Ok Ok :spook
To clear it up ;53
The red part of your indicator lens needs to be blacked out so it will not show light.;27
This is done by painting 2 pack black paint behind the lens.
By doing this when the indicator flashes only the centre clear or if modified amber lens will flash leaving the red part of the lens unaffected.;29;29;29

I had been wondering about all this. I need to modify my rear blinkers (etc) in order to get my car complied. what do people normally do for this? do they use an orange bulb and clear cover, or orange cover and clear bulb... or... ? Is it an easy mod? I would be interested in getting some of those bulbs off you Cameron, perhaps if I send you some bucks (via netbank) you can post me some...? I also need some hi-beam bulbs, can you get those cheap too? :)

I've put the orange bulb in the white reverse cover! BUT you will have to reroute the blinker from the red to the white cover!
