well convertible tops came with production date embossing..like Vinylite trade mark AS-6 do not rub dry etc...

hi joe,yes it is a dated top,see on the back left there is a material tag sewn on,thats for the dealer to let the buyer know how to clean,allso embossed in the rear window just above the tag is the dateing and the name and how to look after,its a 6th month 1970 top,the car is a 2nd month 1971,they say the top has to pre-date the asembly line number by 12 months to be correct.i did my homework thanks to a friend with a very informative book,hehehehe.......thanks joe;42;42;42

Looks better now that I've trimmed the plates and put them in licence plate protectors.

Still, I envy chrome bumpers every time I see one.

You have a nice car, I'm envious.
