Post by: bootlegger on October 16, 2006, 11:03:37 PM: Ebay is being corrupted more and more. Every week I get offered second chance offers and the such. I have already been ripped off twice. This week on aussie ebay there is a 64 in pretty good condition for a pay it now total of $13000. I emailed the guy and he wants me to send the money to Amsterdam. I know the car is in Brisbane. I called his bluff by saying Ill pay the money when I pick up the car. Last week I got offered a second chance offer on a two posted hoist that was listed in Arncliffe from someone in the US. They even fabricate good feedbacks. IF Its too good to be true it probably is. There arent too many bargains on ebay anymore but there are a heap more crooks. I can see ebay falling over if they cant offer any security for buyers and sellers alike. You are really in the hands of the gods. Having said that Ive have bought heaps of things with no problems.

I allways ask for an inspection and say I will only use ESCROW for payment.
But they never get back to me.
