Title: Ecklers troubles?
Post by: 69 DIRTY RAT on June 20, 2006, 09:12:37 PM
Anyone else having problems with Ecklers at the moment? I put an order in for some stuff back on 1/4/06 which never arrived so I called Deb (international) - they lost my order! So I ordered again! after a few weeks  I called and again They lost that order too! I faxed the order again another 3 times in 3 consecutive nights followed up by phone calls each night for 3 nights! I was promised that it had been sent! But still no parts! I checked my Credit card and no amount has been debited! WHAT IS GOING ON? After years and big dollars spent there I think I may have to change suppliers! I'm very disappointed! Does anybody else give a 15% discount?;37

After receiving some junk mail i sent to them email "you can conveniently keep sending me this crap but can't reply to my inquiry to buy a part. Ecklers is becoming known in the industry as so incompetent. I mean why do you waste your resources promoting yourselves when you can't deliver !"A gentleman Michael Wilson reponded V.P. sales & marekting his email is michael.wilson@ecklers.net  maybe try him.

I think that they may be growing faster then they can handle.  Still no excuse.

I have heard from others that there is a drop off in their service.

Corvette America have some good gear.  I have not had any problems with them in the distant past but I never asked for a discount.  Give em a bash and see how ya go.

I just ordered some parts from Ecklers last night, I hope they arrive next week.
I have tried to get a diccount off Corvette Central with no success, to get a discount from them you have to order over US$750 to get a 5% discount, but you may then pay 10% GST.

I know they are different companies but I have never purchased anything from Corvette America, so I don,t know if they will give a discount.

I tried to order via email but had to make three calls and send two furhter emails to get my parts.

I tried ordering "tires" ($94 each) from them but they rang about a month later wanting $175 each for delivery.  I told them to forget it.

Last time I ordered, it was just interior stuff for the 'Vette and some mats.  They never arrived.  I sent several more emails and 2 phone calls but never got replies so gave up.

As far as I'm concerned their email service is non-existant and the only way to get any action is to call them, but you must speak to someone who can actually place the order not just take messages.  In the end I never got the parts I wanted and won't waste my time with these guys in the future.  The frustration ain't worth the 15% so-called discount.

I got on to Debbie.

First 69DR you should get an e-mail.  Please let me know if you do not.

Second I passed on to Debbie concerns expressed here by the club members.

Her e-mail back was:-

"Thanks Cameron,

Is there anyway of getting these customer's names ? There must have been more to this.. I truly do not remember ever stating that I lost an order most less twice !!

Regards,

Debbie"

So if you guys would like to pass on to me your actual names and the dates your orders were placed, I would suggest contacting me via e-mail,  (just click this button to e-mail me) (http://www.nswcorvettes.com.au/forum/images/onepoint9/email.gif) (cam@nswcorvettes.com.au) I am more than happy to chase them up for you with Debbie and report back.
