;wtf Do we really need 53 odd posts of girlies over the last 2 days (last time I checked)? Lets not forget that this is an international site for people who are corvette enthusiasts like ourselves  - lets stick to the tech and corvette talk & not make fools of ourselves. There are plenty of other sites for bird watching.....cheers,

OK. Thank you for your feedback, I appreciate ur initiative.

Please consider the followings:

1) there is a section on this forum called babes and i am sure it has a purpose

2) As far as i am concerned there are no numbered restictions on posting in that section unless it violates the rules

3) If you are not intrested, well guess what? You actually have the choice not to enter

4) there are people on this forum who like this section and reply to these posts, even it is a minority but You have to respect these people choices

5) if you are not aware ...some vital data on this forum were lost in the last 3 days...so what i have done, i have simply reloaded the posts

6)have you ever looked how many technical articles i have posted in the last year....as i aim to please evryone on this forum...please check the following:

did u post anything in that topic?

7) Many other corvettes forum have these sections on...such digital corvettes, corvette valley...and they are considered to be professional and vettes enthusiastic

I find that I am scanning the "Posted By" column and not opening posts by some people as it will probably be another girly picture, this is a shame as some very good posts are put on the Forum by these people and I could miss them.
I like my porn as well as the next guy, but a lot of the girly posts are very plain girls and not worth the effort of opening the post. Some are great and deserve to be posted lets just post the special ones.

Guys Guys!

You know me well better....it is an exception what happned in the last 3-4 days....all the posts from 21/04/2006 were deleted....so what i was trying to do is to restore some of the one that already have been posted for those who enjoyed them so much such as 69vette,madlt1,jhonny,Mrvette,....

As you could tell from my record i have always been posting quality and informative threads....again as i mentioned, my idea was to restore those missing threads but obvioulsy it backfired...and i am sure you could see my point since i aim to please evryone on this forum....and please see the good things as well and not only the bad ones(if u consider them bad)

Anyway i am moving on:D

Well honestly, I really dont mind the postings... as there is no one else posting any threads...

Plus, they girlie postings are under specific a heading...  you don't have to go there.

Any posting is betta than none.

If there are others like myself and I beleive there are, when I come on the site I click on TODAYS POSTS  to see what the latest feedback on posts are ,and even feedback on posts I my self may have made only to find they have been pushed back 3 or 4 pages by girly picks (all being very nice picks ) but I think most people who would like to use todays post as a shortcut to recent posts, would rather not be swamped by these ones .;) And the idea of restoring lost threads is great but usualy  the girly threads get looked at by most people once and they move on, so to restore them may only be for a small minority .

It was a "once only" thing with Jolinari trying to replace the missing threads.

Hi guys.

I'm back.

Ok.  There are three problems here.

One, as pointed out earlier, is that many people use the "today’s post" option.  If there has been allot of posts in one section then all other post's are knocked off the screen.

Secondly.  While I appreciate that people are trying to help, but please leave data restoration to Peter P and us mods.  We have access to system tools to do things that do not effect the counters on the system.  

Thirdly, the babes section is a MINOR part of this forum not a MAJOR part.    What I don't want happening is that it is turned into the main feature of this forum.  The main feature of the forum is Corvettes.  Please keep post counts per day down in the babes to a reasonable level so as to not pull the "today’s post" counter down.

Please respect other users of the forum

Let me start by saying, when the forum first started. It was informative and enjoyable read and even a good laugh.
About 18 months ago, when there was a change in control of the forum, it’s gone down hill quickly, to a point the where I seldom wast my time reading the entries.
Mr jolinari, like others on the forum believe they must answer every response that goes in, most of the time, not with something constructive, that adds to the discussion, but with stupid pictures.
I truly believe Mr Jolinari is trying to help, but, we are a CLUB, the club pays money for the forum, if the club is not happy with the forum, because of the information being displayed, then club has the right to either change it or close it.
By the way, I’m an animal lover and don’t appreciate, the cat.

I have to give you lots of respect Mr. C5 because you are definetly an asset to our club & I admire you a lot.
I really admire your observations in regards to the above comment...18 Months ago, the date would be more or less September 2004 (correct me if i am wrong). My question is:

Why did you wait all that time to express your point of view in regards to the forum, especially a person like you who was on  the committee board for a long time? In my opinion it made things worst, you should have raised it at many club meetings in the last 18 months.

What about the great work Of Cameron...who is behind us all the time, cleaning and organising this forum...i dont think he is making that forum going down hill!

I Enadaveour to reply as much as i can to any fellow members...in a way i feel obligated to reply because of my passion to the corvettes and to the club. Now if you are refferring to the babe section, I have already mentioned that i was trying to restore that section and it backfired on me and thats fine i appologise for any  inconvenience caused.

How long do you think it has taken me to gather such information?

I have never said that... the club has not the right to either change it or close (you are being off subject here...unless you are referring to other matter)

I also helped the club on the convention(dont want mention money or figures)

Please, for god sake dont have Selective view on me unless you have a personal problem against me

I am truley under the impression that you have a personal problem here, I would like to mention to you that there is no trophy to be won for those who post the most and let us not make fuss out of it

But i am hoping this is not the case (personal problem) if there is any problem and you feel that you need to talk about it please do not hesitate to contact me and let us deal with it appropriately and professionaly

actually if it was not for joe this forum would be like a ghost town,plus i think the informative post  out way the girly post,which in my house are just a laugh,but if the comittee see it a different way well then get rid of the section,lets all just be serious all the time....

;50;50;50;50 the club's website should be used as it's intended, if others are in the minority (as previously mentioned) to see the girly threads why not send a u2u or email the pictures on to their respective friends

jo in future maybe instead of starting a new thread for each post just put them in 1 thread makes it a lot easier
