;wtf;49
There is nothing to read so I thought I would post my day.
Decided to have a go at fixing the sticking door lock. Got the locking mechanism ready to come out OK, but then spent about 1.5 hours trying to get the locking mechanism out through the hole just near the lock.
;43;mmm;30;43
Noticed some screws at the bottom of the door, so simple (not me) after that, now all I have to do is put it together again.
Have washes the lock in kero, Should I grease it befor I reinstall it or will the grease make its operation sticky.

from memory with 69 vette....we sprayed it with some WD-40

WD40 is mostly Kero and will loose it's lubricating effects with time.
I would grease it. I did with mine. There is a white grease you can use and buy from Holden Spares but for the life of me I can't remember it's name.

Joe,
I think from my recolection, we may have put WD40 in the locking mechanism at the time because thats all we had.. and it was sticking anyway....
Easily fixed..
