Hey Guys,
I would like to know whether anyone knows where you can get the orange coloured globes that fit inside the rear blinker housing for the 69?
As the centre cap is white, it should flash orange right? for the RTA?....
Would like to get some spares for Evette....
Thanks

repco and super cheap sell em

Why not use amber lamps?
-
Amber/orange??????? I dont think the cops can tell?????:flower

Thanks guys, thats what i meant...apparently the flashing indicators (on a 69 the lenses are white) should flash orange... right????
Apparently i have been told that the two pin lugs on the bulbs over here do not line up with the usa light fitting...
Apparently one of the pins (for the globes here) has to be filed down so that the bulb (the usa bulbs have offset pins) can git the housing...
Can anyone enlighten me on this matter.... that has replaced there globes with compliant globes.

you should not need amber as i am sure the red combined tail ie; U.S. style is o.k. , check with your engineer

I got those amber coloured orange lamps in the monsta, I think I did what you said and ground down the pins a bit?
-
I got an amber dye, for fixing up old faided orange blinker lenses, from my local spare parts dealer and painted my standard globes. The orange globes, I found, did not have the right pin configeration.
Dont paint the dye on too thick or they go red instead of orange. The dye is expensive but it goes a long way and was easier then mucking around with pins.

Believe it or not but I just scraped the pins across the concrete till they fit.....roadside mechanic style.......doesnt get simpler and cheaper than that!!!!!

You butcher. LOL!!:22
