Car:- 77 T Top Auto

Hi guys and girls.  I'm getting to the stage of putting the interior back in.  Now I want to put different seats in were I can adjust the back better than the standard units.

So what has everyone used and what trouble did ya have if any?

Pretty broad question I know but I'm just after some ideas.

You could look into ProCar seats.  They have a period correct look but are far more supportive than the original seats would have been.  More info here (http://www.procarbyscat.com/).

I have a nice set of SAAS seats....so much better than the originals....But you need to mount them directly onto the floor...otherwise your head touches the roof.
But that was no problem at all.

Hey Cam,
Saw your post in DC. Pontiac Fiero's were resold in Aus in the mid 90's (i had one for a while) and the seats are very comfortable (if you could find one) If you did get one I'd garantee you'd have to get em re-covered.

Cam Till is a member from down south. If we remember we will get his number on Sunday & forward it on.
I know that they are not modified but MJ is keeping clean
a re-apholstered set of seats out of a 77 for me in his garage that I am keen to sell cheap.
They have been re done in black leather with a yellow piping trim (it can be changed back to black)  around the rim of the seat.
They have been re paddedand look the part & best of all will bolt straight in.
If you are keen for a look I can get MJ to shoot you across some pictures.:20:20:20:20:20:20:20

For what it's worth I am also considering selling the original seats out of my 90.  Irrespective of whether I decide to or not, given that you are local Cam (and given that they are out of the car at the moment) you are free to try one out and see how they look in your car if you are interested in going via that route.
