Hi. I'm rebuilding a 350 engine from my 73' four speed manual corvette. I will be replacing the original radiator which has been damaged and had many repairs by previous owners. When removing the radiator I noticed that the fan cowl was badly cracked.
I would like to keep everyone as original as possible, i.e. retain mechanical engine fan, radiator mountings, hose fittings, black colour, etc. I see new radiators are available from a number of specialist corvette providers in the USA. However, the freight costs are extremely high.
Does anyone know of a provider in Australia that makes a copy or imports the radiator without the automatic transmission cooler? Also need a new fan cowl?
Thanks

Yeah - as long as the tanks are OK, any RAD place can re-core. The best I've delt with are "NATRAD" certified.

Thanks everyone for the advice.
I will try the rebuild option with NATRAD first. They are local to me.
Failing that, I'll ask around for a good original unit that can be rebuilt.
Much appreciated.
