Hi,

I'm new here. Just bought a 74' model c3.

Needs a little bit of work but a mountain of dollars spent on the engine.

Problem is, every time I drive it, I come out stinking. The seats are putrid.

Anyone got any for sale in good condition that only girls have sat in?

If you want to go New ..its not that expensive to recover them ( with new Foam and Covers ) available from Corvette America

I have purchased (2) full sets from him and recovered here , he can get all colours but i went with Black , its good quality.
Below is the before in the Grey ... and Now with New Foam and Covers supplied from George.

My inserts are cloth with the vinyl on the outer, but I much rather yours.  What model does your's fit and if you don't mind me asking, how much did he charge you?

PM me with your email address and will shoot over the invoices as i purchased some complete interior packages off him , including New Door Panels,New Dash Pad , New TTop Panels , New Carpets etc...

If they are cloth, take them out and give them a good wash in warm soapy water (foam and all).  Let them dry, which should take about 10 mins in this heat and the stench should be gone.

Thanks for your help.  Decided to buy rather than wash.  Issue will eventually come back again where replacing the covers with fully vinyl and foam will be almost like a brand new seat and easier to maintain.  Without mentioning where, I was quoted $900 for the covers and $700 for the foam delivered.  I ended up getting the foam, covers and hardware components (just in case for $825 au for everything delivered.  Now just waiting on some centrelines.

Good stuff - just emailed the invoices form last 2 shipments but seem like your all sorted  .. WOW $900 for covers now that's expensive as to the foam.
