Hi All,
Looking for a pair of covers for the t-tops when they're off. The car came with the original vinyl covers but they're pretty putrid and not sure if it will totally clean, rather get a new pair. than scratch the paint. We also want the option to carry them in the car, so I imagine something small and not bulky?
Any experience on the vinyl ones, do they scratch? I know you can get them from places in USA that sell vette parts, but is there a better option?
cheers
Matt

I had a set made to measure out of flannel in RED of course they are great no scratching and fold up to fit in bin behind seat .Ray

Thanks Ray, thats a great idea. Did you just go to your local seamstress to do the sewing?

I had a set made out of 6mm wetsuit material years ago at Wing wetsuits Taren pt I just took down T-Top & they traced around it to make a pattern. Have been excellent, stretch & provide good protection, have velcro flap to completey enclose the top, cost was $50 per side, any colour you like

Just to let you know that I had a pair made almost 20 years ago and they are still as good as when I got them (sure the tough exterior is a little dirty) and they were made by a club member, probably a little dearer than cloth however the tough vinyl exterior is lined with felt .
